Duty Rooster Up!

Hello Nutos and Pau Sans,

The holy duty rooster is up. Pls print a copy and stick to your working table so that you can worship it every morning.

I try to plan such that everyone has a ‘chance’ to plan for one birthday month. I am such a crever girl, hohoho.

Jan: Donut – plan for CNY cum Pau’s Da Shou (Pau must be nice to me hor, haha. Anyway, it doesn’t matter cos I already have some naughty ideas brewing…)

Feb: Peanut - plan for Coco’s Da Shou

March: Lian Rong Pau – plan for Groundnut’s Da Shou

April: Groundnut - any day…eg to celebrate April Fools Day?

May: Coco – any day… to honour Labour’s Day and Vesak Day for our Indian buddy

June: Pau – very lazy, think on your own. To meetup for blah blah blah

July: Donut – I will think on my own, ok.

August: Peanut – meetup for blah blah blah

Sept: Groundnut – plan for Lian Rong Pau’s Da Shou

Oct: Lian Rong Pau – meetup for blah blah blah

November: Coconut – plan for Donut’s Da Shou

December: Pau – plan for Christmas cum Peanut’s Da Shou

Alas, we will all chip in our ideas, but the member on duty will co-ordinate everyone’s schedule. Ok? Lastly, shall we end with the Nuts and Pau pledge.

We, the citizen of Nuts and Pau

Woo, feel so patriotic after saying the pledge. Btw, pls print out this pledge and paste it on your working table as well. Say it out aloud every morning with the bottom of your heart. Ignore your colleagues’ sniggers when they passed by while you are in the midst of your pledge taking. They are just jealous of you, ok? Get it?

The Geekians Gathering

Thoughts on our Christmas Party:

Since Pau and Peanut wrote down their reflections for this year’s party. I thought maybe I should too, such that 10 years down the road, I can read about it and laugh over a cup of hot chocolate.


Reflection 1: XJ can dance

I’m impressed


Reflection 2: XJ is a very thick-skin spontaneous ger

She can sing and rap and cheer even though we were there laughing away…..no lar just kidding….double impressed that you can complete this tough forfeit. Think I will just act cute and get off with it, hohoho.

Reflection 3: Lian Rong Pau didn’t dress up this year

Was anticipating some fanciful dressing this year. *sad sad* Ger, pls don’t let our my boring, blend into the crowd dress sense hoard you from ‘being yourself’ :)

Ok lar, serious one.

Reflection 4: We met up too infrequently last year

Pau’s relation of her current ‘dilemmas’ made me realized this and felt abit guilty abt it. Duno how to overcome this, can only say I will try to arrange meetup sessions for catching up purposes.

Oh a good news to announce, we have a newcomer to the Pau family,

She’s extremely cute

She’s very funny

She’s loud

And boy she’s attractive

Merry Christmas 2008 (Read only when you have a lot of time on hand)

Note: the warning in the title is not meant to frighten you but this post is dangerously long. Please do not read in the office if your boss is not on leave :D 

Hey gals! sorry that i drag till 2009 then post our 2008 Christmas celebration photos! hahaha. I saw the photos pau pau posted. so funny! especially the infernal affairs ones. so funny lor pau pau and lian rong pau's expressions! Lian rong pau is really the queen of expressions. hahaha. I only have a few photos to upload, most of it is in pau pau's camera which she has already uploaded. The special one in my camera is the video of our "Promote your Christmas Gift" variety show plus the L-I-Y-I human alphabet part!! Woots! (see the post below!!! ^o^)

I also enjoyed this Christmas very much. Totally agreed with pau pau that this Christmas seems to be different from previous years. I think it's because we shared more about our lives? Usually we tend to only have fun after the countdown and then exhaust ourselves until we dun really have energy or mood to share much that happened in our lives. This year it's kind of different. 

For me personally, i dun usually share much of my thoughts to you guys cos sometimes I feel you gals cannot understand me due to our different lifestyle and personalities and i dun want your to think of me as a complicated person who thinks too much. Neither do i want you gals to see "the dark side" of me hence i usually just share some of the happenings in my life and not my personal opinions and thoughts. But over the years i figured that friendships grow only when friends open up to one another about their feelings and thoughts and not just what happened. Cos that is when the real "getting to know another person better" process comes. 

I truly appreciate the ears you gals lent me when i talked about my struggles in my new job (i believe its pretty boring to hear and not very special or particularly enjoyable but you gals bear with me!! *touched*) and with regards to Ms groundnut's Xiao-li (guess this topic seems to be very unavoidable everytime all of us gather).  I guess it's very obvious that i am not very accepting towards Xiao-li. But i tink its very unloving of me if i always dun respect groundnut and keep asking her if she wants to rethink her relationship with Xiao-li. Hence i have already come to terms that if she is happy to be in this relationship why would i want to keep asking her to re-think. I'm sure she herself have already think thru it and also know why we want her to re-think. She has also explained to us why she is not gg to change the current situation, hence, i ought to respect her decision and wish her all the best. so right here, peanut sincerely apologise to Groundnut if i have hurt you in any way especially in my speech and the attitude i shown you. We raise our questions out of love and concern for you, hope you understand. :) Want to also tell you that we are also available for you.

Actually i wanted to write you gals Christmas cards as usual like all other years but this Christmas is really a busy period for me. mainly cos of my card making business. haha. was still rushing out Christmas cards on the 21 Dec. hehe.. I'll give your the cards another time i guess. hehe. I also want to think of creative ideas to give your the card. :) 

Hope we'll continue to keep this new level of openess within our group and may our friendshop grow even deeper and we can know each other even better in this 2009! :)

Sorry i din managed to capture the promotion by Coconut and Groundnut cos i was too excited and din realised that i din press the shutter of the camera. but so glad got capture the part where ur jump on the bed! So funny and entertaining!!!! I really appreciate you guys for putting in the effort and brain juices to come up with sometin so creative! :D Thanks also for celebrating my birthday for me every year, being available for me, showing care and concern for me, joking with me, encouraging me and supporting me.  2008 has been a wonderful year for me. I hope it has been a good one for you too! May 2009 be even better for all of us! :D cheers!
